America as it used to be...
Saxtons River. Un village du Vermont tout pomme, avec une rue principale, une eglise toute blanche.
et dessous j'ai fait deux "coupes, juste pour voir comment ca change le dessin.
Saxtons River is in Vermont. It is a small town, with main street and its church.
Below are two croped drawings. I wanted to see how it changes the drawing.

Nature morte au filet d'oignons, a l'avocat et au pot de confiture...
... ou ma table de salle a manger. Immortalises a jamais, c'est beau. L'avocat est parti a la poubelle. Les oignons imcorpores a un curry de poulet, quant a la confiture de mirtilles, elle n'a pas survecu au chagrin.
Voila, maintenant c'est une nature bien morte.
A still life with onions, avocado and blueberry jam. Immortalized for ever, isn't it beautiful? The avocado finished in the trash. The onions in a chicken curry, while the jam was dying.
Here, I had a pun on the french expression for still life (literally dead nature). A very good one, believe me. But it is obviously not working in english. Too bad.

Montreal
Un des nombreux quartiers de Montreal. Impossible de me souvenir ou c'etait, quelque part entre le Saint Laurent et Mont Royal, peut etre Sherbrook... La peinture murale n'etait pas specialement belle, mais elle change un peu ce carrefour, je suppose.
This is a view of Montreal, but I can't tell you were in Montreal, I guess Sherbrook district maybe. The mural on the red building was not exceptional, but it changes this crossroads I suppose.

C'est le sujet d'Illustration Friday. Pour moi c'est total, comme total manque d'inspiration ces temps ci. Donc voila, c'est ce que je vois de mon bureau chez moi.

Illustration Friday. En gros, un theme chaque vendredi, et on dessine tous dessus. Donc ce vendredi, le theme c'est "hide". Ben oui, c'est en anglais (et ca veut dire cacher).

Le port de peche de Mbour au Senegal. En dehors de l'activite, de la chaleur, de toutes ces couleurs, je me souviens d'une chose. Je ne sais pas si ca se dit, mais l'odeur de poiscaille est tonitruante. Ca demonte les narines, c'est radical.
Je vous ai mis un petit zoom, parcequ'on perd quand meme pas mal d'information en scanant...
Fisher's wharf in Mbour, Senegal. It is not exactly a wharf, it's more like a beach with dugouts. Among different things I can remember from Mbour, the fish smell is freaking strong!
I put a little zoom on the drawing, so that you can appreciate it with a closer look.
